Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which users may cancel orders and request refunds on Martsly.in. We aim to ensure fairness and transparency for both buyers and sellers on our fashion marketplace.
1. Order Cancellation Policy
Before Shipping:
- Users may cancel their order before the product is shipped.
- To cancel, go to “My Orders” > select the item > click on “Cancel Order”.
- A full refund will be initiated to the original payment method.
After Shipping:
- Once the product is shipped, cancellation is not allowed.
- In such cases, users may opt for a return after delivery as per our Returns and Warranty Policy.
2. Seller-Initiated Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled by Martsly.in or the seller if:
- The product is out of stock or unavailable
- The shipping address is undeliverable
- Fraudulent activity or a pricing error is detected
In such instances, users will receive a full refund, and notifications will be sent via email/SMS.
3. Refund Timelines
Refunds are processed after:
- Cancellation confirmation, OR
- Successful return pickup and quality check
Refund Timeline:
- Prepaid Orders: 7–10 working days to original payment method
- COD Orders: 7–10 working days to the user’s bank account or Martsly Wallet (based on preference)
4. Mode of Refund
- Online payments: Refunded to original source (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, etc.)
- Cash on Delivery: Customers must provide valid bank account details for refunds or opt for wallet credit
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be issued if:
- The return request is raised beyond the return period
- The product is used, damaged by the user, or missing original tags/packaging
- The reason for return is invalid under our return policy
6. Data Retention Policy
We retain order and refund-related data for 30 days from the date of refund/cancellation request to facilitate customer support and audit processes. After this period, records are securely deleted unless legally required to be retained longer.
